The most "dangerous" shopping centre

Short skirts are all the rage in the sweltering heat of a Hong Kong summer. Unfortunately, there has been a disturbing increase in incidents of up-skirt photography, with 154 reported cases in 2007, 228 in 2008 and 87 in the first half of 2009.
To protect women against these invasions of privacy, the DAB Women's Affairs Committee's chairperson Elizabeth Quat and committee members Leung Ka-ming and Lo Tip-chun held a media conference on 13 August, warning women to be vigilant when standing on or close to transparent glass escalators, elevators and guard rails, as well as reflective floors and transparent floor-to-ceiling barriers. The Committee further recommends that property managers guard against these incidents by frosting transparent glass surfaces or replacing them entirely with non-transparent or non-reflective materials.
